Import a RapidCue workbook

CatalogIQOS recognizes the industry-standard RapidCue Professional Cue Sheet workbook structure and converts its grouped spreadsheet rows into reviewable cue entries. A cue can span a primary row and continuation rows containing additional writers or publishers. The importer preserves that grouping while collecting timing, usage, production, writer, publisher, share, IPI/CAE, and PRO data.

CatalogIQOS does not infer the workbook's source organization from a contributor's PRO affiliation. An ASCAP-, BMI-, or SESAC-affiliated writer is contributor metadata, not proof that the workbook is an independently verified organization-native format. The source organization is shown only when explicit workbook branding identifies it.

Use an unencrypted XLSX workbook with the RapidCue Professional Cue Sheet structure. Confirm the production title, episode information, cue titles, durations, usage codes, writers, publishers, and ownership shares are present. Keep continuation rows directly beneath their primary cue row so the importer can group them correctly.

Open Business → Cue Sheets at /cue-sheets, then start the spreadsheet import flow available to your Workspace role.

1. Open Cue Sheets in the intended Workspace and Catalog.
2. Start a new cue-sheet import and select the RapidCue XLSX workbook.
3. Review the detected workbook type and source-identification message.
4. Confirm the production and episode metadata parsed from the workbook.
5. Review grouped cue rows, including continuation-row writers and publishers.
6. Inspect timing, usage, writer, publisher, IPI/CAE, PRO, and share findings.
7. Correct blocking structural or required-field findings in the source workbook when necessary.
8. Complete the import and open the resulting cue sheet for review and catalog matching.

The imported cue sheet retains source provenance and enters the review workflow. You can inspect validation findings, edit cue entries, and match cues to catalog tracks. Import does not silently treat contributor affiliations as source-organization verification.

Retain the original workbook, verify ownership shares against authoritative records, and review continuation rows when a cue has multiple writers or publishers. Treat warnings as review prompts even when they do not block import.

Moving continuation rows away from their primary cue can split contributor data. Blank required production or cue fields can produce blockers. Contributor PRO values do not change the detected workbook format or identify the submitting organization.

If contributors are missing, inspect the original row grouping and re-import a corrected workbook. If the format is not recognized, verify that the file uses the RapidCue Professional Cue Sheet structure; otherwise use the generic CSV/XLSX workflow. If a match is absent, finish import and review candidate tracks in the cue-sheet detail workflow.
