Global Search

Global Search helps locate tracks, catalog information, rights-related records, and supported workflow destinations. Results are constrained by the Workspaces, Catalogs, records, and features the signed-in user is authorized to access.

Confirm the active Workspace and Catalog. Newly imported or edited records must finish persistence and any indexing work before all search paths can reflect them.

Open Catalog → Global Search at /discovery. Track-specific filtering is also available from /catalog.

1. Enter a precise title, artist, ISRC, ISWC, writer, publisher, genre, or mood value.
2. Review result type and Catalog before opening a record with a common name.
3. Apply available filters to narrow track or metadata results.
4. Open the matching record and confirm identifiers rather than relying on title alone.
5. Clear filters or switch Catalog when the expected authorized record is outside the current scope.

Opening a result routes to the relevant authorized page. Search does not expose records from another Workspace merely because a name or identifier matches.

Prefer complete identifiers, use consistent party spelling, and combine descriptive filters only after a broad query returns results.

Missing results commonly come from the wrong Catalog, permission boundaries, a newly queued import, filters, or inconsistent source spelling. ISRC and ISWC identify different entities.

Clear filters, verify Workspace and Catalog, then search by exact identifier. Check Import History or Processing Queue for new records. Ask an administrator to verify access instead of recreating a missing track.
